Time to get Girly,,,,,

Well this week has been a rough one for me. I am going to a wedding with one of my close friends, and anyone who knows me, knows that I am not the girly type. I hate dressing up. Not that I dress all butch or anything. But dresses are not my thing. I like to be comfortable. I ran around this week looking for something that I could wear and not look like a gramma, because lets face it the clothes they sell these days are just outrageous. Espeacilly for someone who doesnt dress up anyways. So I found a dress, it is burgundy, strapless, and very frilly. Again this is something that would not normally appeal to me. But it did and I loved it. It is very comfortable. BUT when I got it home I noticed it was ripped. Needless to say I had to go exchange it for the same one just not ripped. Then I ran down to find shoes that would go with this dress, yup found some. Got them home to realize they too where broken. Well WTF. This is why I hate playing dress up. My nylons will probably rip before I leave the house too.

So then I had to do something about my nails because they are horrible. So I bought fake ones, lets just hope I do well with the glue. LOL.

I am actually getting very nervous, He is much older than I am and his family does not know he is bringing a date. So it should be interesting. And it is very hard for me to say the word date because he is such a good friend, I just dont want to mess up our friendship. We hang around with the same group of people all the time and I dont want any akwardness. I am going to Philly to stay with his bestfriend in a month. I know, I know it does not sound good but I have been friends with them for 5 years and they are my closest friends. They help me with everything, my car, my relationships, and everyday life. So we shall see what goes on tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Wish me luck!!!!!

This weekend was incredibly busy. I went to the drive ins with my friend Matt, his daughter, my daughter and of course the dog. Let me start by saying the dog did well. I had no desire to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Umpa Lumpa's scare me, but the movie was not all that bad. Johnny Depp scared me a little but it was worth seeing.

On to Saturday, I had to go and meet my daughters cheering coach and she had to get fitted for her uniform. Then Matt and I where off to a going away party for a mutual friend. They are moving to Texas on Tuesday and the kids needed to say there good byes. Then my friend Jim came home from Philly for the weekend so I went to visit him at night. I left at 9:30 in the morning and did not make it home again until after 12:30 am. But hanging out with Jim and his friends is never boring and we had such a good time. Well I should say I had such a good time, He was sleeping by 10.

Sunday I sat home and hung out with my friend Shanna whom I have not seen in 6 years. We still keep in touch over the phone but it is hard to meet up because we both have different lives. I also had no choice but to stay at the house all day because my car broke. When I called to have it fixed they told me 330 dollars. Good thing I had it looked at first because it was a minor problem and it only cost me 35 dollars. With my car being broken, I had to call out of work today, No car, No work. What a bummer for me. Not really, I got a phone call while I was home about an interview so I got all dolled up and went for the interview. I am praying I get it. More money, closer to home and the boss doesn't seem to be as much of a heel as my present one is. I should know by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

So Please Wish Me luck
